So the question is how much stronger are 35spline cromo shafts in the rear compared to 30spline cromos?

If I went with 35spline would it be basically bulletproof on 37" tires?

For the rear axle what upgrades should be done?

As far as strengthening the rear shafts....what is need for 37's?

cro-mo stock replacements shafts (30 spline)?

32 spline (do they even make these for non rubi?)

or 35 splines?

if the consensus is go with cro-mo 35 splines....what ARB locker part# is needed to work with those shafts in my non rubi rear D44?
I was looking into all this two weeks ago. I had the same questions..

If you go with 30 spline, you can use your stock axles as spares, but 35 spline is "stronger"...

Basically though, after all the research and costs... it was the same amount of money for me to just buy a brand new G2 D60.

ARB 1000
Axles 500
Truss 300
Gears 400
Labor 1000

= 3200 (minimum)

Brand new G2 with ARB 35 spline axles and ARB and geared = 3500 and its much much stronger.

I did the same calculations with upgrading my D30... was going to cost to much, so I just went with a $5000 Prorock 44.

I am doing my own labor. So that makes it cheaper to just upgrade the non rubi rear D44....the D30 front is a lost cause so that one is being swaped for a complete aftermarket D44 axle.

Did G2 finally come out with a JK housing? Last I saw, they were TJ/XJ only, leaving Dynatrac and Teraflex as the JK D44 options.

Gotcha. So 3:73 and down for 06 and older D44 axles? Any gear ratio for the JK?

Another question is when running 37's on a stock jk rear D44 housing. Do you need to do any truss support or bracing? Or is the housing strong enough for 37's?
