I don't know about the price of the parts but you could do it yourself. The t-case is pretty easy to rebuild as long as you are careful taking it apart and keep things in order. I removed one, swapped all the internals and re-installed on a Saturday afternoon. That was my first time doing one. It wasn't too bad.

I prefer to keep it looking as stock as possible so I went Rubicrawler. Real sleeper on the look. But the power is amazing when you want to crawl. The Automatic helps, and gives you a little more of a range. Relatively easy install. I fought parts but won in the end and didn't break anything that didn't need breaking. I can see where someone could sheer lugs...torque is amazing. I haven't had it on the trails yet...but there are some cool obstacles in the city that continue to prove fun...
