thanks for the input WOL, im gonna take a ride out to quadratec tomorrow and get a set of the OME 2" lift front heavy load coil springs.

i was looking at the skyjacker 2" springs, but i cant find a description that says they are heavier duty than the stock springs. i kinda like the red color.....

i took a ride out to quadratec today and got the OME heavy duty springs.

after my jack exploded ,causing it to drop the rig back to the ground (luckily the tires were still on!) spraying my, the JK and my garage with the hydraulic fluid then a ride to pep boys to get a new jack....

i put the new springs in. the JK is level, the ride is 100% better and there is plenty of clearance between the bump stops

thanks to all for your input.
