I have to agree that getting them installed is a little frustrating. With that being said when I finally got them installed and tighened up they are extremely stout. I can't say enough good things about my grabars. Once you get them installed they should outlast the jeep they are bolted to. Whenever the conversation of mods comes up in a group of jeepers I show them my grabars. They start pulling and snatching on them and the first thing they ask is where did I get them. I wish all aftermarket parts were made to last like my grabars.

Yeah very annoying to install but 20 minute job of frustration haha.

Love em once on they look good, although those Carolina things look awesome.

My pet peeve is that I can no longer use my sun visors!!!! I didn't notice that for a few days haha.

Can you not pop it out of the latch, slide the visor horizontally, then around the GraBars?

I just made a quick trip to the store, mine clear the GraBars under normal operation, but I have a 2014. Guess something must be different. :\

Got mine installed today and love them. Absolutely solid! Install was a pain but like they said, its the nuts on the Jeep that are often out of whack. I took the top bolt on the driver side out and the new bolt wouldn't start. Took a look at it and the nut was overshadowed a little by the surrounding metal. My solution was to take an 8mm tap and run it through the hole and I got lucky. I guess me tapping it moved the nut over just enough so I could get the new one installed. Passenger side was a breeze.

So total install time 30 min....5 on passenger side and 25 on driver side lol
