Is anyone running 4.88 gears with 32" tires? I going to hop on this deal but I was curious if anyone got gears before there tires.
The Deal: Front and rear Superior 4.88's installed for 1000.00 flat.

I know how to do gears and have done about a hundred and fifty sets but parts alone are over 600.00 and I value my time way to much to want to spend the day doing them. This is a smoking deal.

 

I'd probably do it too if it were a reputable dealer. 4.88s and 32s, I haven't done. Do it and then reason with yourself and get bigger tires!

 

No the bigger tires are going on. Just can only afford one or the other right now unless I sell the Rubi wheels and tires I just got. I am calculating the final ratio right now and it looks like 6th gear at 3000rpm will be 68mph. Thats a little high for my tastes.
