Default off road ability AND decent highway speed?

seems to be a pretty common theme of wanting more power out of the JK especially with the extra weight of the unlimited

over summer i plan on doing a build on a 09 JKU rubicon 6 speed
putting 3.5" lift with 35s and some new bumpers on it. Im hoping to stay with the stock 4.10s for now but im also gonna be making a 14ish hour drive from CA to CO a few times a year any chances on me being able to cruse at 80?
if not what options do i have to help out with some extra speed on the highway? unfortunately i dont have the 20G for a hemi swap but might be able to scrape up enough $$$ for a Ripp SC

any opinions?

I have a Jet Chip, Airaid CAI, Magnaflow exhaust, 6 speed, stock Rubi gears, and 35"s with a 3" lift and can do 80 no problem t all. However, MPG starts to hurt around then. I can get 17MPG at 72-75, 16-16.6 at 80 on a good day.

Haha that's good then. I have a 2 door so it may very a little, but I usually cruise at 72 all day getting 17MPG.

Bump for some suggestions?
Would a superchip be enough to get a little more top speed on the highway?

I have a superchip and dont think it will help as much with top speed as it does with acceleration. Best bet is to turn of OD but it will kill your gas mileage

edit: nevermind OD, noticed you said its a manual

Superchip helped in my 08 4 door Rubi. It is not mind blowing but you notice a slight improvement. It might be just enough to get you want you want for the passes.

People say there is no replacement for displacement.
Next best thing would be forced induction, but that is out of our price range as well.
Have the Superchips, it doesn't make up for steep grades or high elevation. I know this because we go to Fort Collins once a year to visit the wifes family.
We did re-gear to 5.38, can't believe the difference. It's like a whole new vehicle.
4.88 would work for your 6 speed.

Do you run 35s or 37s normally? I'm curious on much the altitude has an effect on everything. I'm about ready to regear mine to 5.13 with 35s.
