Wow, I couldn't imagine how high my RPMs would be at 60 mph with 5.38s and 35s here in Colorado, but then again, you do have an automatic. Since I drive manual, my 4.10s have been bearable, but I would like a little bit more oomph so I'm re-gearing.

Yep. I'm considering 37s. And I also want to make sure I've got to extra power with all the trails I hit here in Colorado. There have been many a times where I needed just a bit more.

I have a very similar set up with the superchips. As stated before the superchips helps with acceleration but i cant tell much at top speeds. I can run 80 on the interstate, but you have to stay in 5th. If you shift to 6th then you begin a very slow deceleration, the rpms just arent high enough to maintain speed. Running 80 in 5th is hard on the mpg's it will get about 15-16 at these speeds. I think the best fix is to regear. I have not but know some folks that have and its like driving a different jeep.

Did you calibrate your speedo to allow for the 35s?
I just got my 35s on 17x9 American Racing delivered. Will report back after installation

It is very interesting that everyone's expereince is a little different. Guess it just goes to show that small factors that we dont even pay attention to can have some significant effects, ie... weights and shapes of after market parts installed.
