I think you might want a piece of 3/16" plate (Looks like you have 1/8") if the jack is to be mounted horizontally. Vertically it looks like it would be good.

Good idea.

You could also use all thread with a wing nut to clamp it tight then a cotter pin behind that? Just a thought if you are looking for different ideas.

Default isnt a little bottle jack just as efficiant ?

i mean thats a lot of extra weight to be just sitting there never getting used ??? i like the looks but they should make a stong light weight one for us ! i know they work well but not used for the most part

Bottle would never work. Will not get tire off the ground. Also jack is not just used to lift jeep up either has several other uses when needed. Bottle junk when jeep is lifted higher then max bottle extension.

Need mount built because I have trex top which is frameless. All other mounts are in the way of top.
