armor the crap out of it, get some tires on there, and wheel it. the more you wheel it, the more you'll learn, putting you in a better position to know how you want your build to go.

Thanks for all the input, I think I might go ahead and pack some armor on before I start looking into lifts and more advanced stuff until I get to wheel around a bit more.

I am going to get some differntial covers. I have a stock auto X w/ rear LSD, does that mean it has Dana 30 front, and a Dana 44 rear? I have the 4.10 axle ratio.

And on a point degenerate brought up with me, how do you address parts like the oil pan, radiator that ca leak fluid? Are there seperate type skid plates for those or just better seals or parts I should look into?
