Some people on here have installed a "sandwich plate" under the oil filter.
It's a lot easier to install a pressure sender with one.
I think forum member jiblet has one. PM him and ask which one he has.

I got fed up pretty quickly with that and went with an oil filter adapter instead. It came with something like eight ports on it so I put both pressure and oil temp sensors in there. Look up the oil pressure sender writeup by Zak.

you could call around the shops near you; you want one with 3/4" UNF-16 thread.

I got mine at glowshift.com, part # GS-AF2. Check them out at

good quality, super easy to install. I have an oil temp sensor and an oil pressure sensor on mine.

Let me know if you have any questions

How complete is the adapter? Does it fit well, and is it well made? I like the idea but want something that I can depend on and not have to worry about it failing out on the trail. Any help would be great. Thanks!! JOE>
