Default Ok i know this question is getting old

I want to chop my fenders but don't have the balls. So I'm just gonna go completely fenderless. But that bumper has to go. To make a stubby how hard is it? Do I need a plastic welder? Do I need to be drunk? So much pressure. Btw I'm waiting with the sawzaw in hand

You can always look into buying someone's take off factory flares and try cutting those instead. You can prob get those for less than $100 and they come up pretty frequently here in the "for sale" section. That way if you screw up, you still have your original flares. I'm contemplating this mod too and not sure if I have the guts to go for it on my stock flares.

As for a stubby front, there are a few people who have done it and then modified the ends with the left over plastic and made it look pretty clean. VDP and Rough County also have front stubby bumper end caps for sale for less than $100. The look very easy to install and keep the factory look.

Just my $.02...

Good luck with whatever you do.

Is the color way off on these end cap kits?

No not at all. I know several people were having that issue with the rc kit, but the vdp seemed to be a direct match. Very easy to do as well.
