Having read TheDirtman's pinned thread several times, and listening to the people who second his opinion, I'll be calling Morris tomorrow AM to change to the light-load springs.

Does light = 2615 and 2617 coils for a 2door?

I think it is subjective to each. I had the HD coils and standard OME shocks, with SRC f/r bumpers and 8000lbs. Winch, and rode very plush to me! Only when went to 5100 shocks does it feel rough! Either way think you will be happy.

There is nothing subjective to coil rates. Higher rates are going to sit higher and not soak up bumps as well as a lower rate unless you have the extra weight on them. Its physics not an opinion.

your opinion x brand coil rates ride rough, could be mine they ride just fine, with exact same set up.

A coil built for a heavy load ran on a too light a vehicle is going ride rougher as it cannot properly compress, the forces applied to it from the road will be transferred thru the coils and into the body of the vehicle. If the same coils are under a heavy vehicle the coils will compress and absorb the forces while the body stays more stable stable.

In contrast a heavy vehicle that runs too soft a coil will have them compress too easy and will bottom out the suspension transferring the forces to the body causing a rough ride.

Coils should be set up with weight handling and desired ride height to perform properly.

Nice plush ride, and what I had for height after the first week of springs settling, is still the same height 5 months later.

I would really like to see pics of your setup, if you can post them or PM me. Thanks!
