If I would have put on solid bars I would get to drive the Rubi more often.
Has anyone else had the issue with it hitting the rock rails? This stink! I don't think I want to do the 1" body lift.

Anyone with chrome pics???

I found this post with a little more info: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...t=16175&page=3
I think KMHENRY77 has a valid point with it hitting the rock rail!

Any comments? Has Olympic 4x4 Products changed the mounting setup???

As per the instructions you should be putting one of those large washer things on EACH side of the frame when you install the "Flat Mount"

"Two reinforcement plates go on the inside of the frame on each side" last sentence on step 2

Did you forget the ones between the mount and the frame? I did! Luckily I had not yet tightened everything up when I figured it out on the first one!

The instructions could be better, like maybe referring each photo to which procedure.

I like my little rails so far!

I installed them in August, and had to take the stock rails off. Someone posted a while back that you can shim them with washers to fit.

As for durability, I ran my JK over an iced-over mid pit that's about 18" deep. I went through the 2" ice no problem, and had no issues with the ice coming back under the jeep. The rails don't take me too long to switch, just two bolts on each side and carry them around the vehicle. If you're looking at SERIOUS rocks, I'd still look to a sturdier version, like the Shrockworks... I'm not doing serious rocking, so I'm not too worried...

Anyone know if it matters which bolt holes you use for the ReversaBars? I installed using the first set (which seems to work better as steps) but I'm thinking it be sturdier if they were in more?

'08 Wrangler Unltd X
Jeep Green
Olympic ReversaBars
18" Sahara wheels/tires
Rugged Ridge Mirror Relocation
Mopar Hood Lock
Mopar 4pin Harness
Mopar Door Sill Guards
Mopar Frt Tow Hooks
Cort Hitch Receiver
More to come......

I put mine on a while ago and have not regretted any of it. I have hit the trails, and have heard them scrape a couple of times already. Man I am glad I got them. Easy install (once the instructions are understood -they suck).

In my 'my.project-jk' gallery I have some pictures of the washers and the mount, in case anyone wants to see them mounted.

I do not think it will be that hard to turn them up, it was a fairly quick install. They do not hit anything (other than rock ).

I installed mine last year in the up position and have not changed them since. Had to take off the stock Rubi rails. Love mine.

Does anyone know if they make these for the 2 door JK? I can only seem to find the 4 door Reversa Bars. Never mind...just found them.

The description says 2 door even though the pic is of a 4 door.
