Olympic Rock Bumpers, any thoughts
I could not stand it any longer, she is paid for and those horrid plastic tubs they provided as bumpers had to go. I ripped them off and burned them. I just wanted something simple, made out of metal looking stuff, something vintage looking, like on an, uh, Jeep!
So the bumpers that most closely resembled what I had in my mind were the Olympic Rock Bumpers, Series 500 I think they are. Price was right, look was right, any thoughts from you guys before it is to late to turn back on them. They seem to be on a L-O-N-G delivery schedule, bummer.
I will not be mounting a winch at this time, a straight, simple, clean bumper, front and rear is all I want.
Thanks for any thoughts, pics etc you guys might have of these bumpers.

Quadratec Part No: 12006.3201 (gloss black). I was going to shorten my stock front bumper but like you, wanted all metal and more of the "TJ" look. I was happy with the quality (powder coat finish) and it let me easily reuse my stock fog lights.
One thing, if you need to mount a front license plate, there is no provision. I did not want to drill holes so my new powder coat finish could rust. I found a magnetic mount that works great at xxx.gppinc.com/details/1239_5.html
Below is a link to some pics. The lower two pics are not of my jeep, just some ideas of what others have done. I personally don't care for the "horshoes" but it does allow you to reuse the factory tow hooks if desired. I would imagine longer bolts are needed for this option.

Thanks guys, I did find a few threads with the search and like what I am hearing and see. I think the old school TJ look is what I want and these bumpers deliver on that and I see that some people have even mounted a winch on a plate above the Rock Bumper and it looked fine, also kind of old school look.
Thanks, feel free to show any new photos if any.
