A bit late asking for updates or feedback since you already bought them. I guess it looks like you're going to be the test subject. Looking forward to hearing your experience with them. My understanding is that OME claim they don't need rebuilding. And from what I can see from pics and videos they work exactly like the fox internal bypass but these are adjust for compression and rebound.

I came across this thread when researching the OME BP-51 shocks myself. I searched all over the interwebs for more better information, and the only threads I found were just like this one, or "sponsored" reviews that were very vague and unfulfilling.

I researched the shocks themselves, and the tech behind them, and they seemed very promising for their price point. So I ordered me up a set.

They were a complete royal pin in the arse to install. Plan on wasting a full day on the install as there are a few steps that are very tricky and will have you cussing and throwing tools. The underside of my muffler has a bunch of new dents in it now from me "releasing my frustrations" upon it.

I'm running the entry level Curie 4" lift that only came with adjustable uppers, raised track bar brackets, and drop brackets for the factory brake lines.

The BP-51 shocks for a JK are not "bolt in" as they come. Front and rear mounting kit are required, and they are sold separately.

It was a lot of work to install them.

The shocks are awesome though.

I'm having the worst time trying to type this review on this forum though so I'm giving up. Sorry I wasn't able to tell you guys more about them, but I have to type at 1 key stroke per second or slower, or else this forum completely looses half of the letters in every word... it's very strange, and extremely frustrating.
