Default OME Lift kit w/black shocks?

I saw in WOL's write up that he was able to get black shocks with the kit. Does anyone know if OME still offers black shocks or am I stuck with the yellow ones?

Thx

I ordered my OME NitroCharger Long Travel Shocks in Black from Dave at Northridge about 2 months ago, you may want to check with him

One important side note if you do get these... When doing the install DO NOT THROW OUT OR LOSE YOUR STOCK BUSHINGS! As once you open the shock box you will realize that they do not come with new bushings, just reuse your stock ones. Unfortunately since I did my lift over a couple days I threw my old shocks and bushings out on the first day

I believe the black ones are the Long Travel version that Northridge special ordered from OME/ARB? Verify with Dave that the length of these shocks meets the needs of your current lift setup.

I plan on picking Dave's brain on Monday. My jeep is to be delivered first week in March and I'd like to have everything on hand when it arrives. How long did it take you to receive your kit if they have to special order the black shocks?
Thx again for the info...

I ordered the OME LT kit from Northridge a couple of weeks ago and I received it in about 5 days. I didn't think to ask about black shocks, so I got the yellow ones. As long as they work, the color doesn't bother me.

They have the shocks in stock. I was just saying that the black long travel version are a northridge 'exclusive'. I believe they had OME make them special, and no one else can sell them. (at least that was my understanding of the situation)
