Default OME Lift? Lot of problems???

It seems like a lot of ppl are experiencing issues with OME lift kits. I have no desire to get one for my jeep as I am extremely happy with my superlift.

It seems to me that everyone gets confused as to what lift they need, what springs they need and it looks like they do not include much of anything in their "Suspension System".

My question is with all these other proven suspension companys out there such as Black Diamond and Superlift that include EVERYTHING you will need to lift your vehicle why are people choosing OME? I have heard they have good springs but it seems to me from being on their site that you are basically builiding a "Frankenlift" and are looking at a lot of extra expenses.

OME owners and haters or lovers please chime in!

Love my OME kit that David sent me from Northridge.

I did get the HD kit with the adjustable FT trackbars, and I added the FT upper control arms (no cam bolts needed), and extended brake lines, and extended rear sway bar links (moved the rear ones to the front) as well as a 3/4" spacer up front and a 10mm OME spacer in the rear. With the Toyo 35" tires it sits about 40.75" fender lip to pavement all around.

I have had zero problems with this setup and the more I drive it the better it rides both on and off road.

Many thanks, David, for the excellent advice as well as superior customer service. You set the industry standard!

I have heard of a few people having issues with "bowed" springs, but I can't recall anyone ever actually having a BAD spring, seems like it's the installers fault, and once fixed, (spring rotated, isolator repositioned, etc.), no problems exist.

Damn those wheels look good on your Jeep. One of these days I am going to put them on my black two door Rubicon when and if the stock market recoops.
