Im not putting them down just trying to learn more about the company... I got kinda confused on their website so trying to figure out if anyone else was having issues... I have a friend looking to lift his rubicon but he does not want to go as big as me... This was one of the lifts I was looking into for him. Thanks for the responses I will let him take a look at them.

I am looking at an OME lift as well, but given the geometry, I do not see how you can just run the springs/shocks w/o any issues, especially the HD springs. From what I understand, folks are netting more like 3+ inches from these HD kits. I see that one person that has posted has other componets i.e. track bars, controls arms, etc. How can you guys run this kit only, nothing else, and not have problems?

Only by following the manufactures recommendations. If you pair the spring rate with the load you plan to carry, you should be fine with the kit. People that run the HD springs with no added weight are getting more lift height, as you know, than the manufacture advertises -and as a result will likely need to buy additional components to make the kit perform well. If you pair the correct spring rate to the weight you are carrying, the lift is about 2.5 inches, and not much different ( as far as geometry is concerned) than the standard BB out there. Like the those lifts, this one doesn't require any additional components at that lift height.

Although I bought track bars for mine, the adjustment was less than 1/4 inch to center the axle and I probably would not have noticed much difference without them.

Purchased my OME late in 2007. I purchased based on the history OME has proven with prior models thru the years.

When I purchased and installed mine I got much more lift than I wanted and was a little disappointed as I had already purchased and installed 33 inch tires with no desire to go higher. 4.10 gears.

1. I have had no settle since installing. Still a little undecided with the height issue again based on the tire size.

Gets lots of compliments locally but when I initially installed I posted opics here and got replies that it did not look so great . A little disappointing

2. The ride is much is better than the stock ride and I am thrilled with. Much smoother on the highway. Don't get me wrong I like the jeep ride but it is much improved from my 1985 CJ7

3. ESP issue. Turns on when going around corners regularly. I have had it professionally aligned and have played with the steering centering regularly yet it still comes on all the time and makes me want to run it into a wall.

I cannot get it to re-program doing the whold "turning the steering wheel" thing. Probably because it is a 2007. Have not, and not sure I want to start cutting wires to install swithes in order to turn it off.

I was so mad at one point I considered going back to stock height and possible selling the jeep.

Since then I have calmed down and deal with it simply because I like jeeps. "Yea I know its a jeep and I heard that before I fixed my leaky soft-top issues", but I have had many 4X4's, altered, and never the steering issues I have now.

So I have mixed reviews at this point. I cannot say that the lift itself is the problem but possibly "the height I got with the tire combination I am running".

Never had the ESP come on before the lft was installed.

Yes I got the HD version, and I am not running heavy front and rear bumpers. However I was told that using the lighter version would cause addition if not to much body roll. Not an expert just an (a little) unhappy wheeler

Thanks for giving a different view on the lift. I too have heard good things over the years.

The reason you are having these ESP issues is because you are not running an adjustable front track bar and im guessing your not running anything in the rear either... BAsically your axels are not centered below the jeep... I had this problem before i got the rear track bar after adding a 1 inch spacer in the rear to my 4 inch superlift.

You lifted your jeep more than the manufacture planned.. and since these lift ktis dont include anything but springs and shocks you need to get some adj. track bars to make everything right. You can align your jeep for days but without centering your axels its going to have esp issues... trust me.. once those axels are centered its a whole different animal.
GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR YOUR HONEST INPUT!

SOrry i didnt read your sig. correctly... but are you running a rear adj. trac bar? Are you sure the front axle is centered correctly?
