One hell of a valentine's day present
I got my wife flowers and a stuffed animal with a balloon that said "You're my main squeeze." She got me a JK Unlimited X 4-dr. She drove it to my work and dropped it off. Talk about speechless.
I found this board earlier today and have been doing a lot of reading about modifications. It’s gonna be my daily ride with a little moderate wheeling once a month so I have to take that into consideration.
First up are tires. The stock ones definitely have to go. After reading a lot of posts, I think I'm gonna go with 33" tires on 15” or 16” rims. Depending on how they look/ride, next up will be a Teraflex 2.5" BB, if necessary. After that, I'm lookin at Body Guard front and rear (w/swing-a-way) bumpers and side guards.
By the time all of that is done, it should be summer time (I gotta work a ton of OT just to afford this present) and I’m looking at tubular doors, bikini top, etc.
This should be fun (and expensive). I’ll post some pics as I go along.
