These look awesome... Judging from pictures people have posted it looks like the dirty dog (more expensive) has a better fit and looks like there is less chance of flapping at higher speeds, but the spider shade has better protection from the sun?

I'd love to get one of these. I can remember a bunch of times in my old TJ getting toasted on hot summer days and felt like wrapping a shirt around my head to block the sun!

I already have the JKini from SWS and was going to use that with my ORH top, but decided I didn't like the ORH top so I kept hardtop and want and need coverage for dog. Didn't want the one piece and have thought about the DD rear, but I think I will just go with the SWS one piece. Is there any weird flapping in the middle of this shade with no center tie down points??

Hey you guys with the SWS JKini type of sun screen. Anyone try putting this on without taking the rear hardtop off. Looking for a little DIY info/help before pulling the trigger on one. Thx

It would be real, real tough. Take your hard top off, make it easy.

It'd be close to impossible with it on!

I've got both DD and SWS and if I were to buy again, I think I'd buy the SWS. Here's my findings:

- SWS has a bigger gap, but not by much and not enough that it makes an issue for me. Not sure why SWS doesn't fix this since this seems to be the most common compliant on these forums.

- SWS blocks out more sun. At least the trail mesh version. When I bought my DD 6 months ago, they didn't have different types of mesh and I'm not sure if that's still the case. The SWS ultra mesh looks like it would allow as much light through as the DD mesh.

- SWS has thicker bungie cords, though I like the hooks on the DD bungies vs the balls on SWS's bungies.

- SWS seems to flap just a hair bit more, but it's not an annoying flap, just a visual flap when I look up at it. I think this is because DD uses hook and loop fasteners to secure it to the sound bar, but I'm sure something like this can be done with SWS.

- SWS costs less and it's made in the USA.

The biggest factor for me is keeping as much sun off of me and the upholstery as possible. So for that, it's SWS.

thanks for all the input, after reading all the reviews I just ordered a SWS 4DR Trailmesh and used the JKF code, $101 shipped.
