Default Opinion on SRC side armor

Hitting the trails for the first time next week. Have a Sahara with the side steps. Looking at some sliders for better protection. Looking for opinions on the smiitty built SRC side protection.

I cannot speak on these personally, I'm still running rubi-rails. I have however seen what happens to Smittybilt XRC rails when sliding on rocks. It bends inward at the weakest point which is in the center. This is because they have only two mounting locations so the center bends inward and dents the rocker panel. Really ugly and a poor design IMHO. Hope this helps.

thanks, yeah i like it with the rubi rails because there would be a big space between the ACE rock rails and the body, it seems to be a smoother look.
