I just received my set (northridge) and yes, the bolts are recessed.

Riddler gets my vote. Had them for a long time and they have taken some hard hits without much wear. Simple to install.

I love the arb design but I hate that bright red. I wish I didn't have to paint them and they came in black. This will be the difference between me getting these and riddlers. ARB needs to have more options

Great advice I think I have narrowed it down to the Riddlers. If they aren't that difficult to get on that's the key for me

Seems like there are three features,

- overall protection
- bolt protection
- fill/check plugs

Can anyone discuss the pros/cons of their solution for bolt protection and fill/check plugs. More interested in the cons of course.

Seems like I'd read about one solution that had exposed bolts that were prone to breaking when bashed at the right angle. Think I've also read about another where the fill/check plugs were a PITA due to their positions. Can't remember the product name for either one.

Riddlers are a good choice. You wont be disappointed. Use Lube Locker Gaskets!

Riddler or Poison spiders are the same. They are strong and affordable.
