Just traded my 08 sahara unlimited in for a 12 sport 2 door auto. I am thinking of either 33s with stock fenders or 35 and flat fenders. Not really looking to lift. It is my DD and I mostly 4 wheel at my hunting club and some trail rides. No rocks. What do you guys think. I am not trying to break the bank either. Thanks

No lift at all??? The safest route will be the 33's since it will be your DD but as many will tell you that you may get that itch to go bigger so I would rethink the lift....just my

I ran 33s on my Rubi for quite awhile before I decided to lift it, didn't have any problems.

Good luck either way!

SG said it...33 is definitely safe and the lowest lift cost. I'd at least level the frt for a 33.

just my opinion but i would leve it stock. just pick up some rubi take offs and be done with it. You will have no warranty worries, no more stress on components than the factory planned for. in my eyes its not worth the cost if you dont need the lift or the bigger tires.

oh, and it means better fuel economy

4.11 with manual, 35s are doable. Anything less, go with 33s

Personally, I like the factory fenders, so I vote for 33s with new wheels (4.5" backspace)

X2. Really, drive it for a while and then you'll know more what you'd like it to look like. But don't do a "ready, fire, aim" and then end up not liking what you just chose after spending the bucks.

You failed to mention your gear ratio's - so it's not easy to say how a 35" tire would even perform on your ride.

3.21 and it is an auto. I like the look of 35s and I know a few guys running them and are happy with the new motor and 3.21s. But I don't know if they will fit with just flat flares or if I want to give up gas mileage and extra money for tires if I really only need 33s. I don't know I guess I need some help talking myself into the first mod on this one.

A suggestion then - for about $1k (usually) you can buy a complete set of 5 Rubi take-off's factory 32" tires with Rubi rims, all new.
