Over compressing springs
Can flexing to much with not enough bump stop ultimently damage your springs or what is wrong with not using bumpstops because im thinking about making mine shorter
having said that, some manufacturers purposefully use taller bumpstops to help prevent rubbing of fenders at a full flex. in those cases, you can make them shorter without any ill effect.
not necessarily. did you get the extensions that go on top or the ones that get mounted to the axle. i'm not a big fan of the ones that go on top but the ones that bolt up to the axle is what you want. of course, if you have both (as i know the 4" kits come with both), i would ditch the upper one.

not the most scientific way of determining too much compression but yeah, going solid is not typically a good thing when it comes to coils.
