Default paint my springs

what kind of paint do I use to paint some springs.
I'm buying a set of 4 door ruby springs and was told they may look bad.

there are a million of those springs floating around. Just get a better set.

these only have 1700 miles on them and they are local...he said they have just been sitting around a while...plus, i kinda want to paint them anyway.

I personally would probably sand off the rust or blast them then prime them good and finally through on a good coat of paint..

ya but buy a good one dont go and buy the walmart brand.... you want a good brand.. spray paint isnt spray paint you will notice a diffrence after using the cheap to the good stuff..

If you want them to look brand new, I would take them somewhere, get them beadblasted and powder-coated gloss black.

i'm gonna go blue or green...maybe silver since my whole jeep is black and silver..not sure yet, a fellow forum member is trying to get me to paint them pink

Just get a rattle can of Rustoleum. Clean them up good with some mineral spirits, scratch them with sand paper (320 or 400) and spray them. It will look perfectly fine and last a long time. Plus it's cheap enough you can always do touch up later by just squirting and spots that start to look bad.
