Painted tow hooks
I am in the process of painting my tow hooks tonight. I removed the front and rear bumpers so that I could remove the tow hooks for painting. Thankfully there are YouTube videos to show me how to do that. I sanded them with 220 grit sandpaper, then spray painted them with Rust-Oleum Professional High Performance enamel. I spray painted them outside so that the overspray was on the snow, then brought them inside in my basement near the heater to dry. I'll put the Jeep back together tomorrow with the painted hooks.
yeah I just rattle can them. If you'll be actually using/needing them, good chance they're gonna get scuffed any how. I used dark silver metallic on mine to match my wheels. EDIT: I used wheel specific paint from auto parts store.
