I just ran out and measured: 79" from ground to top of hard top. 4" FT ultimate on 35" KM2's.
Maybe get a skid plate for the top of your jeep.

Thanks for all the replies... You guys are awesome!

I checked my clearance and I have to be below 6ft10in. (82in.)

It sounds like it's definately "do-able". Now to start shopping...

Welcome,

Below in my signature line is my set up.

With this set up I am at 6'7" not including the radio antenna, so the max garage is 6'8" for me.

Also, a good idea for after you get you lift is to use one of those Brother labelers, and after you measure the highest part of your Jeep on flat ground, is to create a label and stick where you can see it so if someone else is using it they'll know as well. I actually put 7'2" on the label so if my wife does use it, there will be no problem.

And yes, you can use your stock tire with a lift.

Good luck.

How did the stock Jeep end up being 3" taller than the lifted Jeep?

Measure twice, cut once?

Default Stuck on the street

I used to worry about height with my truck....I didn't with the Rubi until I added a rack............and then lights on the rack...........and then a 5inch lift (still with stock 32" tires).

I'm now sitting at a wooooooopin NINETY-THREE inches That's 7 feet 9 inches for those that hate division

And I DREAD going to San Francisco but just had to do so a couple days ago....and yep...no garges tall enuff best i could find 6' 10"......

i was in a city garage the other night and it was close. if i raised my hand through the roof, my palm would slap the supports.

the worst part about it was all the paint skidmarks on the beams from previous parkers that werent so lucky.
