part number for detroit

whats the part number for a detroit 44 x model ? where should i get it, im having my gears changed thursday

Do you mean Dana 44???? If so, there should be a tag on the axle housing.

bump
i have a 2007 wrangler with a 44 30 spline.
i know there isnt a dteroit that fits it exactly.
which one is close.
ill drikk the ring gear bolts out to 1/2 iunch

187SL-16C : 30 splines 3.92 +
187SL-16D : 30 splines 3.73 -

187S-192A : 33 splines 3.92 +

all of those have 3/8 ring gear bolt hole.
