The .69:1 is the gear ratio of your overdrive or 4th gear with an automatic transmission. What that means is at highway speeds you'll have pretty low rpm and will find your JK often kicking down to a lower gear to make additional power. When you kick down to a lower gear your driveline unlocks the converter which causes some driveline slip to increase rpm and torque. The net result is you spike your rpms by about 50% or more.
