Default Performance questions from a new guy

I am new to the Jeep world, and this is my first post on this forum. Just wanted to say the the information, input, and opinions on this forum are awesome! I just recently bought a 07 wrangler unlimited x and love it. It is just an absolute machine! I want to increase its performance first because it is my DD and want to increase the get up and go and responsiveness around town. I will fix it up for the trails in the future but it will only see light to moderate off-roading until then. Here is the list of upgrades I am thinking of getting, any comments or suggestions, positive or negative would be appreciated. I also am not sure on the order in which to purchase these performance upgrades.

Superchips Flashpaq:Read a lot of good things about them. Thinking I should buy this first?

Cooltech exhaust: Haven't seen too much info on these, would like some first hand knowledge. Relocates the muffler and high ground clearance tip. Sounds good to me too. Also considering the MBPR off-road exhaust seems to be a favorite with some good info on the forum. Also like the sounds of these.

Throttle Body Spacer: Can these be ran with Superchips? Any suggestions? Brand?

Cold air intake: Seems like a lot of Jeepers are running the AEM Brute Force or AirRaid. Anyone running the S&B cai?

I have heard that separately an exhaust, cai, and throttle body spacer don't increase performance that much, but when ran together, especially with superchips, the increase is substantial...remember I am running stock with 31's.

Any thoughts, guys and gals?

I just bought a JK 2010 4dr. I put in an aFe stage 2 cold air intake. I have one on my Frontier. I will let you know how it does. I am trying to get the Jeep to match my Frontier performance parts wise.
Frontier Cold Air Intake, Magnaflow Exhaust, Hypertech programmer, Helix Power Tower throttle body spacer. MPG before 16 to 20 now 20 City and best 27 Hwy (Avg Hwy 25).
Currently on the jeep avg 18 mixed city hwy

superchip will give the most. the rest only make a slight difference but is worth it for the sound. SAFE YOUR MONEY ON THE THROTTLE SPACER. its not carburated

X2. If you think it is slow now wait till you get a lift, tires, bumpers ect. Superchips is worth it though, I found Northridge4x4 with free shipping the best deal.

X3 Superchips

My Jeep now drives like I always imagined a Jeep should. Before yesterday it just felt lethargic. (Superchips 87 Tune installed last night)

For performance definitely start with the Flashpaq -- by far the biggest gains out of the lot.
Went with MBRP exhaust mostly for the awesome sound to kill the minivan whine but it did add a little pep to the low end.
Don't waste your time with TBS, and with a CAI I didn't notice any gains but it sounds more throaty.

I appreciate the feedback. I saw some AFE intakes on ebay. I'm not too concerned with getting performance from the exhaust and cold air intake as I am more concerned about getting my Jeep to sound the way a Jeep should sound. Any performance gains from these is a plus. I will probably be picking up the superchips first.

Anyone running the cooltech exhaust? Any more thoughts on throttle body spacer? no gains, or not enough for price?

I am gonna need you kind folks to donate to my Jeep fund, isn't that how this works?

Does your cold air intake get its air from under the hood, like the stock air intake?

Throttle body spacer is an expensive paper weight! You would get more performance out of removing the back seats and saving some weight thana pos throttle body spacer.

X2. Same goes for the CAI. Don't waste your money on these. You might also get an annoying whistle from the CAI (not sure why they're called that-none of them actually use cold air)...the dogs in your neighborhood will notice it, too.
