Phantom Dings?
LOL - I'm glad I'm not imagining stuff. I've had that happen a couple times (I have a 2014 JKU with 15k on it) and I generally just think that the Jeep is bored and is screwing with me.
Jeep: "Ding!"
Me: "What the hell was that?" <Scans instruments trying to find the offending light>
Jeep: <silence>
Me: "Seriously, Jeep? That's not funny!"
Jeep: <snickers>
Me: "Jerk."

Too Funny! Yep, I do the same thing.
Do a search for mystery ding. JKs have been doing it for years. Mine does it once in a while. If I look at the instrument panel quickly enough, I get a very brief glimpse of a warning light going out; just the very faint tail end of it.
It's not always the same light, though.
