Why would re-gearing it affect your warranty? The only risk I see is if you fail to follow the gear break in directions and destroy the R&P. The housing is much stronger so you should damage anything you didn't just put in.

You should be fine either way. I run 5.13's and don't have any problems.

Thats what im thinking also and dont see there really being a problem. And if it is that bad that I need warranty work and might as well upgrade then going back to the same set up
