Awesome pictures! That first one is intense!

with my AFe drop in filter and snorkel it's pretty quiet, pretty much sounds like stock...you don't get the nice growl like the CAI systems.

I have a Banks CAI with the Banks Monster Exhaust. Sounds and runs awesome. It is quiet till you get on it...then it sounds like a monster!

Hey I should be getting a snorkel here pretty quick. I've got the K&N 63-1553, it's yours if you want it. Should probably get a new filter, I've definitely mudded it up past cleaning. I'll be back in Portland ~16th should be able to uninstall back to stock on the 18th if you're interested. You could also hear it, but I'm not running a muffler so picking out the intake whistle is hard.

I got the K&N for the price, and I had the exact equivalent on my Commander (V6) and loved it. K&N also offers a silicone polyester wrap for their filters, which saves you a lot of trouble when cleaning.

I've got a Banks Ram Air as well. It sounds good when you step on it, the plastic enclosure offers some protection from water and helps to block hot air. It does need to be re-oiled every 50000 miles or something like that (dependent upon usage), takes maybe 15 minutes to clean it and re-oil it and you can just buy a K&N recharge kit. I can't report any real power or mpg gains, although it does seem to have a little more go mid range. Overall I like it and yes i'd buy it again.
