Default Pinch seam and 35's

I took my jeep out today and stuffed the rear tire in the wheel well to see how close the tire would come to hitting the pinch seam. here are the results:

The Close up

I think I am good to go but I would not want any bigger tires without doing some trimming.

In addition to cutting the pinch seam, I also cut back the rubi rails approx 2"

There are threads on this, some cut their pinch seam, others bend it back

Has anyone cut the Smitty built classic rock rails? I run these and they are just about identical to the rubi rails but they do not have end caps that can fill the hole at the end. I do not want water/mud to get in there.

I've thought about it but just seems like so much work for a small task. I will prob end up doing that though... Post some pics after you do yours!
