Question pinion angle/rear track bar mount

When installing a rear CV driveshaft, the pinion is angled to match the angle of the driveshaft (so I read) and I realized my rear track bar mount and spring mounts will rotate as well. I was thinking to cut off the stock spring mounts and put on aftermarket mounts to prevent the springs from bowing. Do I need to cut off and relocate/weld my rear track bar mount as well or will that be OK in the stock location? My rear track bar is a JKS.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

relocating your lower spring perches is a good idea but not entirely necessary if you have a 4-door. if you do this, i might recommend the JK adjustable perches as they are bolt on and well made. as far as your track bar goes, you will be fine leaving well enough alone.

Thanks Eddy, I have a 2 dr. The track bar mount on the axle doesn't recieve more stress since it is out of alignment from the stock location at that angle? I heard these mounts are weak enough in stock applications so I wanted to be sure. I bought the JKS weld on reinforcement, but wanted to double check before welding this thing on.

most track bars have one end with a bushing that's moves freely like a heim or spherical joint and this will prevent any issues. i know that the jks bushings are rubber but you can set your arm accordingly before tightening up the jam nut.

I just lifted my 2 Door Rubicon auto and when I adjusted the rear pinion with the adjustable control arms the passenger side coil was rubbing against the adjustable track bar. I ordered a set of Poly "Rear Coil Corrections Wedges" from RockKrawler that fit under the rear coils to reduce the bow in the rear springs. There is no contact now so I did not have to cut off my spring perches and go with an adjustable spring mount. At $24.99 from 4wheelparts it was a great deal.

How much clearance do you have now between the passenger rear coil spring and the rear adjustable trackbar? Also did you purchase lower or upper coil spring retainers or just the RockKrawler Wedge?
