Default Planning on an Upgrade

Have a Black JK has 4000 miles. I want to put the AEV JK Front Bumper on it. I also want to get a 1-2 inch body lift, and once the stock tires are gone buy some 33's. Anyone put on the AEV bumper? And also wondering if they would suggest a 1-2inch body lift for 33's or keep it stock? Been around jeeps my whole life but this is the first one I actually own. Great if you guys could give me some good information Thanks alot

Lots of routes to travel regarding a lift and I agree with jgarner that I would do a spring lift before a body. Not that I have an issue with body lifts, just see them as something to supplement a suspension lift to keep hardware prices down. If you're going to wait until your existing rubber wears out, you have some time to think things through. As for the front bumper, after installation 3/4" spacers will level it out and get rid of the rake.

Instead of a body lift, I would recommend a 2.5 BB. The body lift would help clear tires, but why not go with the BBoost? You don't have to change anything in terms of driveline and you would have a little extra clearance. Just my opinion.

Alright sounds good. Any suggestions on a 2.5" spring lift? I've been looking at a few different ones but any personal experience is better than nothing.

An OME or Teraflex kit would fit the bill and plenty of people here using them. Call David at Northridge to make sure you get the right spring rates to accomodate your bumper and read the Suspension FAQ to make sure you have the appropriate other components for a trouble free and happy boost for your Jeep.
