The prorock has a 3" OD tube as opposed to the 2.5" OD tube our stock housings. The Prorock is strong, but nothing is bullet proof. You are going to be running a massive tire so I think it is perfectly appropriate to run the truss as well. It will be extremely strong and you should never run into any issues with it.

The pr44 is strong enough for 41's, but I wouldnt mind a truss just for piece of mind.

Once this build out is complete - piece of mind is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not going to have the money to replace a new axle because I was out on a trail and bent it..

Thanks for the feedback

• Read axle: Dana 44 OEM
• Hi-steer
• Hard Rock skids
• 4” suspension lift
• ARB Lockers front and rear
• 5.13 gears
• Wheels: 4.5” backspacing
Initial thoughts
• Front axle: Prorock 44 with c-gussets and axle sleeves
• Rear axle: adding c-gussets and axle sleeves
• 6” suspension lift – seems to be required since I currently rub when off camber
• Stock fenders (have to go)
Areas that I need more information
• Should I change to 5.38 gears
• Steering??
If you are running 41's or have experience with this type of build-out - let me know your thoughts and what I'm not considering.

Thanks,
I think Dynatrac recommends not going over 38" on the ProRock 44 but I'm not positive. Turning rubber that big is not only about the strength of the axle housing, but the size of the axles, ring and pinion etc. There are major differences between the D44 and D60. I can't imagine why someone would talk you out of a 60 in favor of a 44 with tires that big and heavy.

ProRock 60s front and rear, hydro assist, 5.38, figure out why you are rubbing and fix that, you might just be able to extend your bump stops and not raise your center of gravity even more than you already are. Just how tippy do you want this thing to be?
