Went to Home Depot website and it lists a vinyl and a rubber version. Are you guys using the rubber version?

I did mine a month ago. It's held up great to some light wheeling. For thos that had issues with the dip peeling off when installing the lug nuts, I used an impact gun and it worked great. Also, I didn't use anything to mask off the tire since I saw somewhere that you can just peel it off. You can peel it off but it all didn't come off. Most of it did but I found myself peeling for the next week every time I saw a small piece coming off.

I did my grill and my spare wheel yesterday. I plan on doing the rest of the wheels when the weather cools off. The grill turned out ok but seems to have some shinier looking spots that make it look splotchy. Should I peel it off and restart or just add another coat? I did 5 coats so far. Also, what does your guys texture of the plasti dip feel like? Mine feels like rubber. Just wanted to make sure that's gat it's supposed to be. Some of the pics on here show it looking smoother than what mine came out.

Anyone have tips for a good even coat? I did two rims this weekend and one is uneven(darker in some spots) and the other had weird areas with rubbery build up of texture. I just peeled that one back off tonight and will be trying again tomorrow. Seen some good pics of real even, smooth looking rims and cant seem to get that with my results.
Thx

I didn't mask my tires either. Most of it peeled off in one big piece. I had some areas that it didn't come off so I took a rag and wiped it off. That cleaned the tire really well.
