I've been using this stuff for over a year now, I did my chrome rims on my 04 cobra a year ago and they still look just as good as the day i did them and I did my grill on my JK about 9 months ago and never had to touch either since the day i did them.

make sure when you do this your doors are clean and are done dripping down by the mirror... when i plasti dipped the whole thing i had to redo both front doors due to water dripping down the door and messing up the coating with not letting it stick....

to those wondering why i did this is because im looking into getting my jeep painted flat black or bedlined and i wanted to see how it would look, or even if i would like it.... why not use this it peels off and doesnt harm the paint.....

Tried it. FAIL.

Tested the spare first. Everything went great until I tried to reattach the lug nuts. The turning of the lug nuts grabbed the plasti- dip and started twisting it. Oh well.
