5-6 cans, looks good hard to mess up. But I wouldn't use it if you wheel in rocks. Paint is easier to touch up. If you go with plastidip use 5-7 thin costs. I'd go with paint tho. By if you're unsure of looks, buy a can of plastidip and do two wheels. If you like it I'd peel it off and use paint. My wheels get scuffed about every time I go out. Easy to hit em with paint to touch up. Plastidip likes to peel up when it gets scuffed

A little off topic but went wheeling today and my wheels got covered in an Olive Drab Green colored mud. I think it looks dang cool on the all black JK. Just a thought, I have already Powdercoated mine black, but had I seen this first I made have went with this color.

That was right After they were done. I often had people ask if they were powder coated. Problem with powder coated wheels is rock rash, theres no real way to touch them up. they would have to redo the whole wheel.

Easy to do and have them look great if you take your time.

Just the other day I needed to remove the plasti dip that was on my grille in order to prep for raprtor liner. The PD kept pulling off in small 1/2" pieces and it took about 30min just to do a small section. Turns out that let mineral spirits soak in for awhile turns PD to mud and wipes off with ease. Moral of the story, go another route to color your wheels.

Sweetest custom mud job I've ever seen.

That's all I needed to know! If I can get the stuff in Germany, I think this is going to be my first change.
