Default Please HELP dont know what size tire to get?

I'm in the market for new tires and have decided that I will be going with Goodyear Duratracs on my stock 2012 Rubi wheels.

Here's my issue:

Should I go with the 285/70/17s and not have to worry about wheel spacers or any other issues?

or

Should I go with the 315/70/17s and get the Spidertrax 1.5" spacers? and if I do what issues will I face if any ?

if you're even thinking about going bigger, you should or else you will regret it. the 1.5" spacers will allow you to run the tires without rubbing issues at the rear sway bar link or at a full turn but, you will have rubbing issues on the fenders. you really should trim your fenders or, install at bare minimum, a 2.5" lift to clear 315's

WOY, I stubbied my bumper and may cut fenders in future. Would I be able to run The 315's with spacers with this combo or would I get a good amount of rub on the trail?

I'm also about to swap my 54/14 springs for 58/17's so might get an inch there.

Thanks

Default Tire Size

WOL is right. I was running 285 size tires on stock Rubi 17" wheels and using Spidertrax 1.5 spacers with no rubbing issues at the sway bar. I went to 295 size tires on a new 17" wheel that is 9" wide. The new wheels does not have a lot of back space so I used the 1.5 spacers. I have been running spacers for a year with out any problems. I have also installed flat style flares. I will go to 35" tires in the future.
