Default please read, I'm putting BL on today

I am trying to put on my body lift today and I am doing everything to instructions say to do. It is a 2dr and I can't seem to get the 2 bolts in the middle of both the driver and passenger sides. The instructions say to take one side at a time out but they don't say they don't want to come out. Am my doing something wrong?

Are they loosening at all? I think I remember someone saying that Jeep installed retainer clips to keep the bolts from falling out in the even they worked loose. Just loosen them and pull them through.

I have read that there are clips holding the bolts, and that all you have to do is pull down on the bolts to spring the clips. Sorry I've haven't done a body lift on my JK yet or I could say for sure.

I have them loosened all the way but they seem to be stuck. Maybe I need to get under it and pull harder I just don't want to knock myself out .

yeah you have to put constant downward presure on them while turning them. When you put them back on you have to shove them up there while twisting

pics man....gotta have pics. lol. I'm gonna swap out my daystar 1.75"BB for a TF 2.5"BB and add a 1"BL on top. Throw on some 35's. Prolly stud the 33's for winter use as they don't clean the roads here, just scrape the top layer of snow down to the ice!

Here's some pics. I put on the BL because I have some rubbing with my 35's so I had to put on a 1inch BL for now. I want to go with the same setup as you do...2.5 TF and this 1inch BL for and easy cheaper 3.5inch insted of a 4inch on a 2dr and have new shafts when its only .5inch bigger...not worth it IMO.

You can see why almost everyone does the 1inch and not any more. A little gap but for $100 its well worth it to me.
