You can see why almost everyone does the 1inch and not any more. A little gap but for $100 its well worth it to me.
Wow, that was a pretty quick install. How'd it go?

Is that an X? If so, what gears do you have? How do you like the 35's? Any issues with those knife blades at the rear??

My 1inch body took me right at an hour with an airjack, 2 blocks and a rachet and socket...lol. Air tools would cut that in half.

It is an X, I have stock 3.21 gears. I love my 35's and wouldn't trade them for anything even the little mini van wheels/tires that came off it new. You talking about the sharp body right in front of the back tires.

Look at this tread if you haven't and you can see just how worried I am about my stock setup and 3.21 gears with 35's. I takeoff a little faster and I don't have 6th gear but Jeep never should have put that damn 6th gear in from the start. Its been useless from the start.

So... You have 35's... 3.21 gears... a 1inch body life... and no problems???

YOU JUST MADE MY DAY. I was getting worried about putting 33's on mine and was told it's going to be a dog. 35's and 3.21's and it's still managable? I'm all over it!

Oh, and yeah, I was talking about the Metal body part... No issues?

IMO, 3.21's and 33's are very managable I had that setup for a while. 35's are a little more sluggish and I don't understand but it seems like everyone thinks that when they say there jeep is sluggish with 33's and stock gears they forget what they bought in the first place...it was ALWAYS a little sluggish but I knew I wasn't buying a sportscar...LOL. I say if you remember what you where buying when you bought it and keep that in mind you shouldn't be disappointed with 33's and 3.21's. You can still use 6th with that setup but me, I knew what I was buying and I never used my 6th never have and never will and I'll be happy with my 35's and 3.21's untill I trade off.

As for the metal peice I'm not going to say I never had problems with this and thats why I got the 1inch. After this weekend I can get more pics if you like and if you want 35's but don't want to get new gears that run $1500 or so I'll let more people drive mine and see what they say.

Well, figure they come with 32's...so a 33's is not a noticeable difference for most people, a small percentage ratio change...especially when you compare nominal tire size variations of a few percent anyway.

The BL looks great BTW!

32's with a 4.10 gearing though... or 3.73.... I think the 3.21's only come with the 30 inch tires. Sorry for hijacking the thread! Thanks for the inspiration though!

I WOULD have had 3.21 and 255/75/17 (32's), but, I clicked the little $50 box to get the 3.73 option (No 4.10's anymore for the X's....).

I saw my JK on the lot I had to have it 3.21 gears and all and I'll never spend the money on new gears because I may want stock tires on if I ever trade and all that money on new gears...damn. You know the car pics the driver don't you mine did
