Default Poison Spider evap skid question

I just installed my Poison Spider evap skid plate I love it but have a question.

Anyone that has this, did you notice how tight the "strap" is that holds it down? I didn't tighten mine very much and it has the nylon nut on it so I am not really worried about it coming lose, but it sure seems awfully tight over the evap canister.

What did you do with it?

Thanks

I noticed it was tight as well but I haven't heard of any issues so far and as long as you don't tighten it to the point of cracking i should be fine. I've had mine on for bout 2 months now. I think I'll crawl under this week when I'm off to take a peek. Plus the skid itself bolts on so snug that its not like its going to flex and cause the strap to become tighter and crack the box or anything. I love that skid its sooo friggin beefy! I think you could balance the JK on it and it wouldn't budge.

Thanks for the feed back Northern Wrangler!

Yeah I love it too, it is really beefy!

I guess I will do the same as you and just keep an eye on it.

I snugged it up, think I used a little longer bolt. Just keeps it from floppin around. No issues
