Default Popping noise after diveshaft install

I installed new front and rear drive shafts the other day. Now when I am coming to a stop I get this loud pop. It sounds like a wrench hitting the frame like metal on metal. When it is in 4wd it pops a lot any ideas

is it just a single "pop" or a series of pops like something rotational making contact with something?

A single pop while coming to a stop. When in 4wd and under load like crawling up a ledge it will pop multiple times

Did you replace with factory shafts or after market?

Are you sure you torqued the pinion nut properly ? I am wondering if the noise you are hearing is the pinion moving a little bit.

The dust shield on the pinion in the front is loose it didnt fit well. The dust shield does not turn with the yoke.

You don't have the yokes tight enough. Pull the shafts tighten the yokes tighter so there is no play, then back the nut off then re-torque it.
