poser question
ok this is dumb but it is something that have always wanted, yes it is totally a poser thing to try and do as well , but i dont care i want it.....if its even possible
so i want to know is whether i can make my wrangler sound like a diesel (without swapping engines obviously). i grew up in africa were all our 4x4s are disel and that sound just is 4x4 for me.
any ideas?

Couldn't resist either!
On a serious note, probably a different muffler or adding a resonator can change the exhaust note (Magnaflow 40's supposed to give a deep, meaty note). Don't have any ideas on that low-down induction growl of the deisel though. Alot of people that install CAIs get a distinct throttle-body whistle which sounds similar to the low-pressure turbocharger on the Wrangler CRDs we have over here.
