Default possible problem with Tuffy underseat drawer

Maybe I am doing something wrong ... please help.
Every time I am descending a steep slope, or if I have to break hard, the underseat Tuffy drawer opens. This is very bothering, since the only solution I have is to lock it, which makes it impractical. When I close it I can feel some sort of indent that should guarantee the drawer will not open by itself, but it inevitably does.
"Permanent" contents of the drawer are: a two-way radio, a small utility knife, a monocular, and a flashlight.
The drawer is fixed only in the front (when I replace the seat will drill and fix the rear part).

Other than this nuisance, I am very satisfied with the quality and usefulness of this product

from the Tuffy website:
" The drawer must remain locked while operating the vehicle"

You can get the combination lock instead of the keyed lock.

+1 to that. Dave at Northridge has them in stock. You can twist the lock "closed" even though it's unlocked

Yep that's what I do. The best part about the combo is that I throw my keys in there when I'm out in the woods or on the beach.

I see the answer then was simpler than expected ... if it has to be locked whilst in motion, then the lock itself ensures drawer does not open. Thanks to all and .... sorry
