Default powder coat flaking off

I have warn rock sliders and the powder coating is flaking off like over an area 6"x5" and there are other areas where it is bubbly like it id ready to flake off. Anyone have this problem? I can just wire wheel it and repaint but its the principle of the thing

Contact whoever you got them from, that's not right.

how long have you had them and where did you buy them from. if it's been within the warranty of like 30 days then i would have them pay for you to ship them back and they ship you new ones. i believe most places have 30 day warranties like that. i know that when i ordered mine from quadratec, they sent me the wrong ones and they overnighted me the new ones and didn't pick up the old ones for like a week! if it's past that warranty or they wont do anything about it, i would just sand it down and take a rattle can to it.

Doesn't sound like a powder coat, not heated or cleaned properly?

If it is flaking off without any "assitance" then that doesn't sound right. I'd call the company and ask about it.

My LOD sliders have lost some powdercoating but it was after I've let them kiss some rocks. I picked up some spray bedliner in a can to cover up those spots and it looks great.

I had Warn Bumpers on my YJ and they did the same thing. That is why I did not choose to put any Warn products on my JK cause I knew that would happen. Good luck
