Default Power steering box help!!!'

My power steering box is going out on my 2009 wrangler rubi. The steering wheel has a ton of slack in it before it actually turns and is getting worse. Does anyone know of a good replacement? Didnt know if there was a heavy duty replacement for these?? Thanks

Try adjusting it first. There is an adjustment screw on top of the box. Loosen the lock nut, and then turn adjuster screw clockwise. Try 1/8 of a turn and then see if more is needed. Lookup a more detailed write up on doing this though.

Are you talking about the gear box or steering pump? Check out PSC, AGR and West Texas Off Road.

I have never heard of an adjustment.

I agree with TheTerminator. People tend to toss their Saginaw style gear box when all they really need to do is adjust it. If it's severely loose due to worn bearings, then of course a rebuild or replacement is needed. But try adjusting it first! Make small incremental changes and see if it doesn't feel better.
