Had a friend of mine do that same analysis and he went with building up a D44 even adding a truss and everything...lasted one trip and he found out his housing was bent. Save the money and invest it in a pr44. We recently found our housing is bent as well so we're in the saving mode ourselves.

We put in a PR 44 unlimited in the front of our Sahara, its stuffed with ARB, 5:13', Dynatrac Balljoints and chromo shafts. I have to say it is a stout axle. I have the upmost confiedence in the front our jeep now.

We appreciate your feedback. As you well know, you never truly appreciate the difference between stock and a PR until you see them side by side. The differences are quite impressive.

Default Warranty

I would like to add that with the Dynatrac Axle you get an exceptionally awesome warranty! I had a very minor warranty issue with my PR60 rear, so minor that I drove my JK from Phoenix, AZ to Dynatrac's main facility in Huntington Beach, CA to have it handled. The fix was taken care of on the spot by the tech's. While I waited the owner of Dynatrac, Jim, took me on a tour of the facility. Unbelievable is the only description of the attention to detail the company places into their product....and it's an all made in the USA product
